Hi,
I didn't know where to post this so I chose here :o
A one-man operation affiliate program I belong to has a generic website.
To get to your own affiliate site, members simply add /?username to the URL.
No problem there.
However, when advertising your affiliate site, the ?username is sometimes ignored and visitors are redirected to the generic site instead.
This often happens when using auto-surf or other framed sites.
Does anyone know if this is a common problem or design error with databases?
If so, what should the owner do? Neither I nor he are more than intermediate level webmasters, so I am hoping for a "simple English" answer  .
