Please help me to improve Performance

Hi........

I am a beginner. I have developed website in Php/MySql. But my home page takes some more time to load in some of the browsers

Can Mysql stored procedures help me? I don't know the concepts of stored procedures. If any buddy in group knows
pl. help me

Its very urgent. Your feedback/suggestions will be highly appreciated.

The first thing I would suggest is not to load so much info into a page. A good rule of thumb is that your page should be no more than 2X the height of your browser window. This helps limit the amount of data that is being loaded into a page, keeping file size down.
