installing linux over troubled windows
![]() |
Hi everyone!
I just received a computer that had windows 98 on it from a relative as a gift. I would like to try and run linux on it, but there seems to be a problem. Windows is not completely on it. The only files on the hard disk are COMMAND. There is no uninstall program, and from what I read on the microsoft web site, there is no way to uninstall windows 98. Does this mean that I will not be able to load another operating system on it? (I downloaded the fedora .iso files) Thanks in advance.
