Using Windows xp and IE 6.0.2600 when on the web, and i try to download somthing to my computer, i right click and get my options. Where it would say "save picture as", or "add to favorites" the box those options are in has a link that has been put there by SOMTHING besides me.
it is seperated by a line in that option box and is directly below the "add to favorites" choice.
please help me! thanks in advance for any possibilities.
Steve

Ok, you have downloaded or click ok an a site pop-up (or someone has) that has accepted this little problematic file. The best thing to do is download Adware and have it remove it.
Is there anything running in the taskbar that shouldn't be?

I have tried Add/Remove - it doesn't (or won't, rather) remove Limeshop. When trying to manually remove it, it goes to the recyle bin, but when I go back to Add/Remove it say's "bla bla .. can't find main"
Anyway, you get the jist - your solution, please?
*Yes, I have run Ad Ware, Spybot, etc.*

Do ad and remove programs, empty you internet temporary files (cache) and your temp folder under document and setttings.
First please get Spybot S&D to clear out most of the spyware.
Short tutorial and download link here:
http://tomcoyote.org/SPYBOT/
Fix everything SpybotSD labels in red.
Then after reboot:
Download 'Hijack This!'. http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/
Unzip to a permanent folder, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".
When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log, load it in Notepad, and copy its contents here. Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.
then post the log here
