$11 for 81 gigs of bandwidth monthly? It seems too good to be true ... and when things seem like that, they usually are. Just my humble opinion, but I would go with a more popular (& therefore reputable) hosting company and save yourself time and trouble in the long run. A plan like that should really be like twice what they're selling it for. Also, steer clear of those hosts who try to guarantee "unlimited" bandwidth. Bandwidth is so expensive these days.

I'd like to apologize for sounding so negative in the previous post. It's just that I've run into some bad webhosts over the years that have cost me a lot in the long run. From now on, I'm one of those people who only wants to stick with popular hosts with good reputations. Check out www.webhostingtalk.com

I'm sure you've already done a search for reviews. From time to time I come across these hosts where they pretty much offer you everything, even their children and sometimes their souls. They offer you all this dirt cheap. Of course I always feel there's something fishy so I check for reviews. I've never found a good review yet for dirt cheap hosts. It makes sense though. Why would they offer quality when they're charging so little? Besides, a company is there to make money, not because it wants to help the public.

I have servers in a remote, undisclosed location.....the only thing I pay is an extra $10 a month to the ISP for extra bandwith, which totals $60 a month.............of course my BSD servers are properly configured. So I don't pay an extra $100 to serving companies for protection. Then again, I have different needs.

I got my website hosted at www.mainihosting.com. Its much cheaper than what you are paying and still has high quality stuff. That plan you are looking at has to much garbage you dont need thats why this is cheaper.

Check how much system resources your site might pull..

HostRocket has great valued plans that come close to yours, but if your forum becomes active and you pull more then 3 or 4% from their system resources, your site is cancelled.

Most 'very cheap' web hosting companies last 6 to 16 months and either die or someone else purchases their clients and spam increases.

Not saying its the case with this one, but .. just think about money vs quality and service and resources.

As with all things in web hosting, you more or less get what you pay for. Never get sucked in by offers that look too good to be true - because they usually are.
