LAST EDIT : I got it, nevermind. After much, much unneeded research, the password was password. HOW DID THAT SLIP MY MIND? :o
Close/delete this as necessary, please.
I've forwarded ports on my old router a while ago, but since then I've gotten a new router among other things.
Let's start with this: http://portforward.com/english/route...BitTornado.htm
Yes, the router is a Westell Versalink 327W.
So I go to either http://129.xx etc etc, or http://dslrouter which is fine, then it gets to the username/password section. It says the default is admin for the username and NOLOGIN as the password. Doesn't work. I've tried leaving the password blank, leaving it all blank, guest, admin as the password, and everything else I could think of, including a password that my dad would use for it, in case he somehow... changed it?
Here's the documentation for my router: http://www.westell.com/content/sales/327W.pdf
The best thing I've found in there was:
NOTE: Before you set up your account profile, you must obtain your Account ID, Account Password, and
VPI/VCI values from your Internet service provider. You will use this information when you set up your account
parameters. If you are at a screen and need help, click on the Help button to learn more about the screen, or see
section 17 (Help) for additional information on the help messages.
I wasn't there when the router was set up/installed, so I don't know if there is an account profile (unless you have to have one, then I... guess there is)
Is there some way to get this, besides like... getting some brute force password cracker? :-|
I don't know why I haven't tried the forum there yet. Hahah... Well, you guys helped with my last problem, but I think I'll make a topic there, too.
EDIT AGAIN: http://forum.portforward.com/YaBB.cg...num=1116584356
Well maybe I should just call Verizon up, judging by that... Hahahah, I always do this. Semi-pointless topic I guess. :l
