I have broken my only usb port in my toshiba tecra 8100 laptop, so i brought a skd usb 2 cardbus 32 bit. Win2000 picks up the card only nothing will work from the usb ports. I also have a wireless pcmcia card also a 32 bit cardbus and that works fine. I though it was the card and got it replaced still does not work. First installed it with the drivers from w2000 nothing, then tried the drivers supplied still nothing. updated to the latest bios again nothing,Running out of ideas.

have you tried switching the USB card to the slot the wireless one is unsing?
I know that with my wife's computer (cpq Armada4220) I have to use the #1 slot for her wireless card to work. It will not function in the other slot.
