Hey All,

Check out my site. Let me know what you think. I need some input on it. The site address is www.wgpcgeek.com I have to re-do a few things to it. Some of the pictures may come in oversized. I haven't had to time to resize them. Just let me know what you think and where I can improve a bit. The poll also does not work, I haven't had time to fix it either lol.

Thanks

Get a template! That's my advice, there are a lot of free templates on the internet where you can edit pictures and stuff (just have to give a shout out to the creator of it), but they look very professional, which is probably the only downfall of your site. It has some content, which is hard to do . Obviously you have some knowledge when it comes to creating a website, so get a good web dev program like Dreamweaver. You can get the student version for pretty cheap. The first website I made with frontpage had that neon green text . Stay away from it!!! Unless of course your audience LOVES green text . Templates are good to structure your site visually, your navigation system is good and thorough, but it isn't very easy on the eyes. I would also recommend not using a category called stuff, switch it to login or something like that. You may not really be attempting to be "professional" but the more prof it looks, the cooler it usually looks as well.

Hope I wasn't too critical

Yes, definitely get a template. www.wwdg.com (i think it's that url) is a free pile of templates. Your site could definitely benefit from one. I don't mean to offend, but it's a very out-dated style of web page.

I agree, you need some kind of template. You should also get some better web dev programs like Macromedia MX Studios and a good graphics tool like PSP or photoshop. Personally I also think that using 3rd party software like your blog and chatroom make the site look less professional. One last comment: having a page before you get to the homepage is extremely enoying unless you have something to warn people about. eg. Porn

But keep going at it and it will start to come together I promise.

I think you should be able to now. I had to switch a DMZ line to the server and reboot it, You might have caught it while I was rebooting it.
