how to creat a web site with a server

actually i need to open up a web site. but the problem is i need a little space. so if i set up my server and how to i make my own domain name.

You would need to purchase a domain name from a registrar like godaddy.com or dotster.com, once this is done you will need to get an httpd server setup.

If you wish to run your own httpd server, you can download apache, from http://httpd.apache.org/

This website also contains numerous details on how to configure the webserver.

You can also post on forums like this if you need further help.

if u want to run website on ur pc and has sql and requires php than u need to download sql server and php also. Best solution is to get webhosting from hosts.
