Well I set up my server and basically what I need to do is make a virtual host to point to my lan IP so people can use the FTP functions.

My Server ------> Virtual Server ---------->User

Something basically like that, know I know I need to use port forwarding etc. but am totally baffled could someone give me a link to a useful tutorial or something this is really bugging me. Thanks in advance.

if you are using a Cable/DSL and want to open port 25 you should be using portforwarding.
Visit this site to configure your router for port forwarding
