Hey People!
You guys are great but i have a problem.
I have just noticed a problem that when i try to download anything from the internet the progress bar only opens for a moment before automatically closing. Possibly related is the "file edit etc" bar at the top of explorer has vanished and i can't get it back using the normal toolbar manager. It's still there, i can use it, but i can't see it. Just a blank gap. Wierd. I've run spybot and ad aware and the hijack this log is clear so i think it might just be a malicious program changing options about somewhere but it's got me stumped. I'm on a satellite pro laptop 2ghz 1g of ram on xp home with internet explorer if you need it. Any help would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!

You're running an outdated version of HijackThis (1.99.0). Please download the latest version (1.99.1) and post a new log from that version.

The problem remains, however, that i can't download files. I tried clicking "OPEN" but it said i don't have enough free memory to run the file. The problem also extends to the integrated web updates of my security programs. Thanks for any help.
