No additional information provided about this offer
I recently bought a domain name (kings-head-coleford.com) which I was going to use on my own web server, however I discovered that a static IP address was going to cost allot of money.

Now im stuck with a domain name and nothing to host the website from. I have checked out a few companies which will host a site for X amount of money per year; however they expect you to buy the domain name from them, and chuck in aload of pointless extras. As I already have a domain name this is not appropriate.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a company which will host a website using my domain name, with a large amount of web space, and no banners, software, crap attached. Or even better, if anyone knows of any ISP's in the UK offering relatively cheap static IP addresses.

Cheers,

NuGG

What I mean by this is I dont want to use a site builder or anything like that, as the website has already been made. Just need a simple FTP interface. (Unless of course I can use my own server, providing I can get a reasonably priced static IP.)

Hey NuGG,

You should have a look at this service http://zoneedit.com/doc/dynamic.html?. This is probably what you need, it will allow you to host from your webserver even though you have a dynamyc IP.
