Ok if you look at my makefile log you will see that I get a couple errors at the end, it directs to stdio.h and the makerrorlog.txt shows a couple problems with a couple lines in my stdio.h .....tell gedit (wordpad might be able to do it) to jump to the line it specifies.... Can someone tell me WTF is wrong?

Are you sure you even need to download a vendor driver for the modem?
Since it's a PCI modem, it's probably controllerless, as in a WinModem, right? Check out www.linmodems.org to see if they have a driver for your modem. It could be that your current kernel is missing some module...
