Applications start slowly, especialy Adobe .PDF
![]() |
Hi all:
I'm running Windows and Office XP Pro on a pretty quick machine and in the last couple of weeks I've noticed that it's taking longer and longer for some apps to load. Specifically, it takes forever to load PDFs and it's killing me waiting for some Word documents to load.
I've also noticed a steady decrease in performance with one app that can automatically generate Word files on predefined templates.
It looks like the system is freezing and then eventually it loads. I've checked my Processes during this and it shows the apps that should be loading with 0% and System Idle maxed as usual.
Anyone who can fix this gets a beer... just put it on my tab.
Cheers!
