Yes I did, I had to completely reinstall PHP-Nuke, and re-do the MySQL databases. I never quite figured out what went wrong though.

i only browsed your site for a few moments, and for the most part i liked it - simple yet interesting. having said that, i would probably change around the layout somewhat.

1) the advertising banner is top dead center, obviously a very, if not the most, prominent placement on the homepage. what's the most important part of your site - the site itself or that there's advertising on it? i would suggest you nestle it in the center section just below the site logo banner (matches the center width better as well).

2) regarding the registration process (and let's stress the word "process" here), a short notice advising one to "Please click 'Finish' to complete the registration procedure." would be most helpful.

as an aside let me say registering on the site is way too involved. if i were a casual browser (whom you're trying to hook regardless), and not intent on registering, i would have bolted from the site right from the begining. unless you have a good reason for having the extra security-word feature i would definitely drop it, for two reasons:
a) it's too imposing for most non-technical users;
b) new user's are going to wonder just what kind of information the site asks for that requires such an obvious extra layer of security.

if there really is a good site reason for the feature (and not just that you've seen it on some e-mail login page of a big time website), consider implemening the feature as part of a pertinent link a layer or two deeper in the site's hierarchy.

3) the site's logo baner takes up way too much space as well. i'd make it thinner and shorter, possible only as wide as the left & center 'columns' (maybe even only the left side column) of the site, shifting the right most column up (then making the top most section of the right column the same height as the newly narrowed logo banner section).

4) (and lastly for now) I would move the user account management section out of the dead center section once one is logged in - again, prioritizing the information presented to the user.
