when i try to install any program i have downloaded i get a NSIS Error. this is wat it says:
"NSIS Error
The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete
This could be the result of a damaged disk, a failed download or a virus
it may be possible to skip this check using the /NCRC command line switch (not recommended)"

anyone know how to fix this. please help

i am running windows xp home, SP2

Either your windows installer is corrupted or there is some kinda malware in your system. Please post your hijackthis log in our viruses forum.
