Hi:

I ran an online malware/adware/spyware detector test and deleted some spywares from my PC. After I had done this, I was unable to connect to the Internet. I am getting DNS error. I am using Cable internet broadband. Can some body pls help me with this. I am totally new to computers. Can you help me fix this? My hardware engineer told that my software is corrupted and that I need to reinstall it.

What's the specific error that you get and what is giving the error?
Did we help you? Did we miss the point entirely? Update your thread and let us know.

Yes. Please tell us the exact error you receive; also tell us which version of Windows you are using.

Please do not contact me by email or PM for help. We're all volunteers here, and only have so much free time to dedicate to our efforts.

However, if I've been working on a thread with you already, and seem to have "forgotten" your thread, please do send me a message. I try not to let things slip through the cracks, but it does happen sometimes.
