What I liked? Pretty much nothing. I really dislike going to a website, like yours, and the "first" thing I have to do is take some other action to learn about the site. I quoted that because what I really did first was set aside some of my time to check the site out to begin with - and who now-a-days has all that much time to waste. I want to be told something AS SOON as I get the to the site, something that will help me decide to stay and spend MORE of my time to checkout just what the site is all about. Granted some people will be going to your site because they know the where's, what's & why's of your site - but they're in the minority for most any site. You've got a lot of real estate on that homepage, I hope you put it to better use. Good luck with the site.

LOL! Haha... I really laughed out loud in class when I read this... sorry, just thought that was funny for some reason.

I'm assuming this is a business web site? Commercial, right? What exactly do you do though?

Our goal is to make the consumer satisfied with everything that we offer. With our servers in Los Angeles, and our Development and Support Team in the New York Metropolitan area, we have the power and ability to get any job that you request from us done...and if we can't, we'll even connect you to someone who can.
Can you be more specific from the start? I know you have links to talk about specifics, but you want to tell the user immediately what you do, so they don't have to figure out themselves what you do. Maybe incorporate this in your logo so it stands out more. If you're a software company or set up networks, include that.

The background. Most of the time, strict business sites have a white background with black text (unless it's an entertainment site, where they have more freedom on being more pizzazzee). I recommend you go with a white background.

Some of your pages scroll down too much. You might want to reduce it to three to four screens in size.

Why go for a cheesy template for your website
Avoid words like "cheesy".

I did a complete overhaul (of the looks, at least) a while back. The text still has to change though....and now there's PayPal stuff.

Nice improvement. Maybe you should change the color of the links though. That light green, especially when it's not bold, could be hard to read over the white. Also, you might want to reduce the intensity of the drop shadow on the text of your home page. Also, under contact, are you referring to Jimmy Freely? If so, "Jimmy" sounds too informal. Use his full name if he lets you.

Also, you should consider writing your own shopping cart or make it seem that you're not outsourcing anything, in this case, Paypal. It gives the impression that you're more independent and more established.

Also... why are you using Frontpage?

1st: inscissor, what's up w/the new avatar? i thought the other one was way cooler - if, unfortunately, somewhat sinister looking.

2nd: theQube, i think its definitely a step in the right direction. there are 3 things i don't much care for tho:

1) why is everything scrunched up to the top of the page?!!! granted, short pages are better than long pages... if i'm looking for someone to design my website i want THEIR website to be aesthetically pleasing. you've got a lot more going on on the 1st page now, but... well, it's cluttered at the top, balanced at the bottom & a huge hole in the middle!

2) somewhat of a pet-peeve: "Special 1" & "Special 2?" I CAN FRIGGIN COUNT!!! if your cust can't tell the difference between what & how many wares you're hawking (on a relatively simple interface), then 1 of 2, or both, assetments can be made: A) you're not being clear, and/or B) your customers are too dumb to breathe. with item "A" you're not going to get too many repeat customers and...

3) i like the idea of the add-to-cart links, i just don't care for the way they're implemented, but this is definitely debatable. the way i look at it you want me to buy something b4 i even study it, which is a turn-off; or you're expecting me to what, check out the specials, leave your site & come back another time to make a purchase? something's just not quite right with that from a pyschological level. plus, 3a), playing the not-so-well-informed consumer part, just how many times do i have to hit the add button anyway? do i click it for the computer, then again if i want it with a larger drive, or can i just click it when i see the config i want? (don't tell me, i know...) ok, now on the flip side, if i know what i want & ur giving me the op to just add it rigt there & then on the homepage, thats cool, but what's the probabilities, eh?

4) ok, so this one's a bonus bitch for you:
what's up with "With our servers in Los Angeles, and our Development and Support Team in the New York Metropolitan area, we have the power and ability to get any job that you request from us done...and if we can't, we'll even connect you with someone who can?" in essense, this is telling me that if you fail in your stated mission of servicing my every whim and fancy then you have access to someone who *actually* knows what their doing... ok, so that's a bit harsh, but so's life, deal with it. this needs to be "re-thunk," on more than one level imho. believe it or not i think you're making good progress with the page & wish u the best with it.
