try a speed test from here...

http://www.dslreports.com/stest

the speed results from downloading all depend on the server too... just because you may have a fast connection doesn't mean they can send that fast.

dial up speeds are around 10 to 12 if your lucky. they usally average around 8

any who, try the speed test a few times... if its coming up short here. there maybe a problem with your line... (use a server with a low load level)

dslreports.com speed test result on 2006-02-26 12:39:11 EST:

Your download speed : 357 kbps or 44.6 KB/sec.
That is 83.7% worse than avg. other reports from charter.com

Your upload speed : 115 kbps or 14.4 KB/sec.
That is 51.8% worse than avg. other reports from charter.com
