I have a computer that had an Abit mobo and the controller card went out for IDE-0 channel. Replaced it with the board below.

I get power, lights and fans come on(including cpu fan) but no display. I've removed all non-essential piecesa and tried every ram configuration, no luck. At this point I'm thinking my board is DOA. Just want to hear another opinion. No error beeps either. Could the ram no be compatible?

Athlon 64
Patriot DDR400 2x512mb
sapphire geforce gfx (card isn't labeled so I'm not sure which one it is)

Sounds like some aspect of the hardware is incompatible. Since time has passed, how did it work out. Have you resolved the problem?
