Brief description:
An open source update of the classic Streetrod game. Updates include 3d graphics/improved graphics, sound, two additional levels and more vehicles. Development began in 2000

Target aim:
This game is to be distributed as freeware

Compensation:
we are a volunteer team that uses donations to defray costs (hosting domains etc)however Part time (or very part time) is perfectly fine.

Technology:
Primary OS: Windows, succesful linux port, plans of OSX compatibility
Programming Language: C++

Talent needed:
seeking C++ programmers preferably with 3d graphics expierience


Team structure:
Currently have 2 programmers, a handful of 3d modellers with various levels of experience. I am manage resources and people for the team, run the website, and do other miscellaneous work such as research and updating documentation.

Street Rod 3 is a racing game where you are a young guy in 1972.Buy a
car, build it up and start racing muscle cars. The game will have 3
levels, moving west to east they will be Los Angeles, St Louis, and
Detroit. Each level will have a king, beat him to beat the level, Beat
the king in Detroit and beat the game. Race for cash or pinkslips.
Multiple modes of play (types of racing) planned, multiplayer capability
planned eventually.
