My computer POSTs but shuts off as soon as windows (ME) tries too start, the problem started after flashing the bios (I've since replaced the chip and reinstalled the OS same problem and getting more eradict, motherboard may be trashed, but before throwing away maybe someone can suggest a work around or possible fix. This is my first time on this site so please bare with me until i get the hang of it! thanks.

have you tried booting from your floppy drive? it could be a corrupted file in the hard disk.
