Hi, I have redesign my website http://www.rishtehirishte.com this is an Indian matrimonial website. I am going to spend a good amount on advertising and promoting this site, but before that I want to know that is there any flaw or any improvement it want. Basically what I want is that whenever new visitor comes on my site they register their pofile on my site. Registration is free. I don't want people leave from the first page. After they register I have plan through which they will upgrade to paid membership, but my first concern is that atleast they post their resume in my website, because all major advertising is PPC in nature. So I want you as you people are expert in webdesigning and internet marketing field to review my site and give suggestions on color, navigation and content or any other aspect of my website.

Upon first glance very nice. There are something you need to do to make this better....

bride.gif lighten it by 30% and add a drop shadow

groom_1.gif the green and white of this image clashes terribly with your color scheme. Redo it in your yellow and rust.

ganeshji.jpg in photoshop, use layer effects, inner glow of 3,3 set to color of the square it is in. This will eliminate the ragged edges.

navigation buttons (home, create profile) are almost impossible to read. Increase the width of the buttons and make the lettering so you can read it.

rf.gif animated register free - redo it, it's awful and distracts from an otherwise nice site.

boxhead.gif redo this whole part in the style you have on the left, it sticks out to0 much.

CCavenue We Accept thing... get it off the front page, it should only be on the page where you are doing the actual sell. The blue and white detracts from your color scheme.

Community Matrimonials, not sure wht it is supposed to be but it is oddly places and the colors clash with the site.

Thank you DougC, for your feedback on designing of my site and the time taken by you for minutely studying my site and givining the comment on almose every part of designing. We appreciate your honest comment and there is no reason to take it as offense..

Actually I have posted this post around 10 days ago. Since there was no response in this forum. I had started redisigning as I have feedback from some of my friends. But I will take care of all of the points raised by you and my new design will be up within next 2-3 days.
