Hi there,
Im a newbie to the site and would like to ask all you networkers for some advice!
Im currently in a dilemna, I have been asked to try and configure a Cisco router in this case a 2503 series, but i need to configure this router via an optical link rather than the normal copper connection! I have already bought a DB9 to optical converter but now need some sort of device, converter or cable which will go from optical to an RJ45 connection to plug straight into the console port or is there an alternative by pluging a converter into the AUI on my router??
Please any help is much mch appreciated!
Cheers
Dan
