Hard Drive not detected

Hi,
My computer recently overheated and after I rebooted it, it wouldn't load properly. So I first checked the BIOS and noticed that the Primary IDE Master, which is my Hard drive, and my Primary IDE Slave, which is my second hard drive, which is my second harddrive, is not detected. But when FastTrak runs, it actually notices my hard drive and have already set the array for it.
I've already tried unattaching the IDE connectors and replacing them with newer ones, but I still continue to have the same problem. The jumper settings should be correct since it was working before with the same settings.
I have a VPR Matrix Series 220 Model: FT-9100PE Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 Processer 3.06 Ghz, 512 Cache Ram, Hyper-treading technology is also enabled, the hard drives are 2 Western Digital WD1000s. The BIOS is also able to detect the cd-rom drives and the IDE Controllers are set to [Both]. (Will provide more if needed)
Hopefully with your help I can solve this problem, Thanks in Advance
