lan driver not detected

i have installed linux in my machine. After installation i have seened that my lan driver is not detected . my lan driver number is INTEX RTL3129D. they give me floppy. i have untar the lan driver and try to install the source file . but the source file is not compiled. showing error message. help me.
Please let us know what distribution of Linux you are using (for example, MEPIS, Debian, Ubuntu, Mandriva, Red Hat, SuSe, etc.) and then we can give you some help.
