Okay-My ipod mini (4/5gig) is around 1 year and a half old and over the last few days when it runs out of battery it will be able to turn back on again if i attempt to and it will say "okay to disconnect" and it will have a tick on it...it then wont turn off until the battery completely dies and it will usually take two hours
any help is appreciated

reset the ipod:
1. toggle hold switch on and off
2. press and hold menu and select until the apple appears
or, connect it to your machine and run the ipod updater
as a last resort you can restore it. this will erase everything on it and return it to factory settings, you'll have to re-load your mp3s.
