I have the EAccessViolation problem too, I have a COM port Communication program that run in the Window 98 with no EAccessViolation, but it will pop up a window with error message say, "Project isicontrol.exe raised exception class EAccessViolation with message' Access Violation at address 0047E859 in module 'isicontrol.exe'. Read address 00000000'. Process stopped. Use Step or Run to continue"

What cause this problem? Any input will be appreciate.

This looks a bit like trying to dereference a NULL pointer.
