While on the internet my laptop froze. I tried to restart it but nothing happined so I closed the top and when I opened it it said 'computer is in use and has been locked.' It asks for a user name and password but wont allow me to tipe anything in. It also says 'only DELL\adminstrator or administrator can unlock the computer.'
Its a Dell Latitude LS and I got it from a friend.

hold down the power button for about 10 seconds while it is on. Your computer probably just went to sleep mode. It should then turn on normal for you. If it doesnt, unplug it from the wall, and pull out the battery while it is on, wait 10 seconds and put it all back in and fire it up. You should be fine then.
