Mac Os X Tiger Start Up Problem

HELLO THERE! I HAVE A POWERBOOK G4 AND OS X TIGER, I AM HAVING BIG PROBLEMS WITH IT:rolleyes: , WHEN I TURN IT ON TAKE SEVERAL MINUTES TO START, THEN WHITE MAC PAGE APPEAR, THEN A BLUE PAGE AND THEN NOTHING, I JUST CAN HEAR A FUNNY NOISE, I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY MAC, COULD ANYBODY HELP ME? I'LL APPRECIATE ANY HELP A LOT!:!: :-|

hi justin-c here!!!

have you got an origanal copy of tiger or a vallid burnt disk image?

have you tryed starting your computer from the cd again by starting and hodling "c" ?

or restart in safe mode ?

also you could try installing panther ?

it sounds like you may have installed a version of tiger whitch was not for a laptop?
