Help loading fonts

I have recently purchased a Mac Powerbook with OSx, I was using an old Mac with 9.1 running on it. Last night I copied some font folders (from my system fonts folder) onto a jumpdrive so that I could load some of them onto my new laptop. When I put in the jumpdrive, it sees the file names there, but says the file size is 0. Why isn't OSx seeing these files, and is there anything I can do to get them into the new computer (font book) from the old one (extensis font mgr). Thanks for any help!

Hello,

I am not sure if OS X will work with OS 9 Font Suitcases or not. I have taken .TTF files from the OS 9 computer and put them on OS X without a problem.

Try moving a single font, such as Arial.TTF, and see if OS X will see it.
