Hi !
I am recently having a problem with IE where IE is closed after displaying the message " iexplorer.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program." This only happens whenever I try to access MsNBC news articles and when I try to log into yahoo games.
Before the IE problem appeared, I use the hijakcthis log scanner and smitre.exe tool to get rid of the virus that hijacked my browser to an antivirus program website and made "You have a virus!" pop ups occur.
I tried reinstalling IE v6 and that didn't solve the problem so I am not sure why I am having this problem. Please help.

Its easy now you have to right click on my computer and click on properties and open system properties and here in the last tab of the second row you will have an option which says dont show error reports put a check mark next to it and then click on tools - internet options and advanced options and click restore to defaults ..issue will be resolved
Thanks & Regards,

My IE browser (6) was doing that too, and only on certain sites. Come to find out it was because the flash plugin had somehow cratered. I reinstalled flash player 9 plug-in and voila!.....no more crashes. When I would click on the "details" of the error report window it would show Code: 0xc0000005 . It took me a good long while to find that Flash Player had somehow stopped working. That error drove me crazy. I am much better now.
Here is where you get the Player http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
