We are a very interesting, small but growing, adult entertainment company, and are seeking motivated, talented and intelligent individuals, willing to grow with us. We are primarily Internet-based and have an exciting vision for growth within the adult entertainment industry - a vision that demands a committed team; a vision that can help showcase your talents. Our company addresses an important void in adult entertainment as the sector evolves in the Internet era. We are not at all about porn, if that's what you were thinking!

We are currently seeking a very experienced website coder/developer to redo the coding of our sites using our new CMS.

To fill this position, we need a person who is not offended by small companies that always find ways to save money, who does not treat smaller companies less professionally than higher paying customers/employers, and will construct things practically so that others can make text changes easily through the CMS, but will perform all necessary coding changes we can't do.

Several of our websites need to be redone ASAP. Additional follow-up work and future site development, will be available via a part-time position.

Here are the job qualifications we are looking for:

* Understands the workings & logistics of a website & has created several from start to finish.
* Has a working knowledge of XHTML 1.0 Transitional or HTML
* Has a working knowledge of CSS2.
* Has working knowledge of PHP includes or the CMS listed above &/or is willing to learn. You don't have to be a PHP expert, just know enough to figure out what you are doing.
* Must be W3C and ensure that every site worked on is validated for all major browsers, as well as the MAC plus, is accessible for the visually impaired & all types of mobile devices.
* Has the ability to code for structure and fast loading times by optimizing the graphics/images. All graphical design for our company is done by a graphic web designer.
* Has the ability to take any PSD a graphic designer creates and make it into a site with PHP includes, CSS and xhtml.
* Understands Character Coding & how to avoid potential future problems.
* Has worked with implementing/installing flash files before, (however you don't need to be a flash developer).
* Is a fast yet accurate worker while helping to ensure that the site is profitable. (one doesn't compromise the other).
* Is sharp (great attention to detail) & confident enough to make suggestions where you feel you can improve something & never afraid to ask tons of questions towards understanding the full picture.
* Posses excellent English communication skills & is able to read and follow instructions, listen on the phone and ask questions either verbally or via e-mail. If something in the project changes, you discuss it instead of "freaking out".
* Be organized and have the ability to set and meet deadlines.
* Is willing to work on existing websites.

Good people skills are important including:

* Being patient & even tempered.
* Being smart enough to know that sites are a work in progress & the team has to work together, (i.e being patient to wait for other people's work).
* Being ethical and honest with a strong personal commitment; your word must be gold.
* Friendliness & being down to earth.
* You MUST have common sense.
* Being ambitious and goal oriented, seeking to improve your skills and the success of any company you work for.

Qualified candidates should e-mail us at jobs@exoticpublishing.com We will NOT accept PMs:

1. Please include your portfolio & explain which pages are valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional and valid CSS2.
2. Forward us sites & explain which ones are driven by PHP includes or a CMS.
3. Forward us your professional references. We are looking for references from owners/project managers you have worked for that can verify your Web Coding abilities.
4. Put the keywords “Job - Website Coder/Developer” at the top of your e-mail.
5. Give us your hourly rate.

PLEASE be aware that time is of the essence, so if you lack some of the important qualifications listed above, you are not a hard worker, you are not as dedicated to p/t jobs as you are to f/t jobs (you MUST have the time to fulfill this position), and/or you do not have a strong sense of honesty and integrity, please don't respond to this ad.

Thank you to all who have responded. I will only contact people who followed instructions and are within our budget.

Thank you - Michelle

I couldn't find an "edit" button to edit the ad, (isn't there supposed to be one?) so I had to start one from scratch. Pls. delete this one.

Thanks

Michelle
