hello all... i can play any mpeg or avi etc files in color. when i try to play them in programmas like winamp or divx or windows media player they all get played in black and white. now when i play a movie from a dvd, i can play it in color. its only with the files that i have in my hard disc. its really annoying. i downloaded intervideo windvd in which i can play the dvds in color but when i try to open a video file thats on my hd with windvd it also plays it in black and white.
i hope someone can help me

Could be a codec issue. Download the the mega codecs pack its free and has loads of goodies. I have lots of video problems and this pack solved just about all of them. When you copy to dvd it gets re-encoded thats why they play from disk.
