What is MSIESH and is it needed

Hi, I am new here and I have read some of the posts, but I never seen anything on what msiesh is. I have the same problem, when i start my internet, a differant start page pops up then my home page. It is some kind of search page. Oh and i just started getting pop-ups. Please help. David

You have been hijacked. The exact hijacker: Adware.Iefeats. This is one that should be handled by either Ad-aware or Spybot - Search & Destroy. Run either of those first (Ad-aware is easier, but less powerful--make sure that the data files are up-to-date before running any program of this type), then download and run HijackThis. Note: read the instructions on the linked page very carefully (the main download link is broken--use http://www.lurkhere.com/~nicefiles/index.html). Do not actually remove anything from your startup or Registry until you have posted the log that it generates and are given explicit instructions on what to remove. You might also want to read my article on the subject, as well.

Silly me, I just used Control Panel, Add/Remove programs and selected MSIESH for remove .... does this not solve the problem ?
