Basically, "Palm Top" ~= "PDA" or "Palm Pilot", or the like. Back in older days, PDAs looked like little-bitty laptops-- having little keyboards and everything-- they were kind of cute! But now, I guess it's fallen by the way side to call it a Palm Top because the industry is trying to disassociate the term "laptop" from a notebook computer.
