svchost.exe using 100% cpu
![]() |
Hi all, hope you're feeling groovy.
I have just installed windows XP Pro and all my programs i need and my network connections and etc etc. I noticed that apon startup, as windows logs on and loads up, one of the svchost.exe's takes up 100% of the cpu time for about 4 or 5 minutes.
I have updated and ran Ad-Aware Pro and SpyBot to no avail. My Symantec anti virus is updated often and runs periodically on its own.
Does anybody have any clues?
