I have just bought a new TFT TV and hav rigged it up as my computer screen. Its MAX display resolution is supposed to be 640X480 (massive I know!) however my computer will allow other resolutions to be displayed as well. Most of them are distorted but I was wondering...

Will it damage the TV to run it at any of thse higher resolutions?

It really shouldnt damage the screen, but ive heard that some games need better monitors. But you have just bought a new tv so i guess its okay. Actually, now that i think about it, you should stick with the resolution that they gave you on the box.
