I'm a 20 year old college student and I work from a laptop. My computer is majorly infected and I have no clue what to do. I get tons of pop-ups from almost every site that I visit now, including this one, and the sysprotect 2005, 2006, and Winantivirus are making my computer unbelievably slow... I've read through many of y'alls threads on this subject and I have run hijackthis, I don't have any idea what to do from there...

I kept my computer free of almost everything and then I loaned it to my little sister when the computer at my mother's house went down. I got it back with all sorts of hooey...such as shareware...please advise me as to how to fix these things. Thank you so much...

I've just read in a post that it is considered rude to post a HJT log without being asked, because it is as if you are saying here "fix this," but are unwilling to learn.

I would like to say that I am very willing to learn, I need help so badly on this though and I thought that I would try to start the process myelf, though I'm not entirely sure what the process is...

Here's what I did to solve my problem. I went out and bought a program called Spyware Doctor. I was having the same problems you are and it fixed all my infections inlcuding Sys Protect and WinAntiVirus. I installed the program just the other day and am no longer having any problems. You can purchase the program at any office store or online at www.2-spyware.com. This is the only program that helped me remove ALL that junk from my computer and it has a pop-up blocker so those programs won't be bothering you anymore. I hope this helps you.
