So I just signed up with a new ISP that is giving me 8 static IP's. Well I want to put my server on one of them. The server will be an FTP and will host pictures for MySpace and forums. What I want to know is what exactly do I need to protect my server, what software or hardward should I get? The server has been behind my NAT, so im not sure what todo about it being in the open. Any help would be greatly apprecieated. Thanks!!
