I am a newbie website owner, an online community for "Single Parents of Multiple Kids". My designer and I just set it live this afternoon. I would greatly appreciate any feedback (including constructive criticism)... any advice that might improve the site.

The header is a little bit bright and fuzzy, but that comes down to personal preference. I prefer more subdued colors, and having darker text on lighter backgrounds, but that is also personal. You may want to put a little bit less information on the front page, or move some of it to the side.
