I recently installed a sonnet G3 500 card w/firewire on an iMac 333 and purchased an iPod 20GB, unfortunately the imac will not recognize the the iPod although there is power supplied to the port. Running OS 10.2.8 with OS 9.2.1 in the background, updated firmware and patches and/or fixes as specified. OPEN for suggestions.

unfortunately, resetting the iPod didn't help with the firewire port. I reseated the firewire adapter from sonnet, still unable to recognize the iPod. I would like to think it is something simple, such as a software or firmware issue. OS 10.2.8 recognizes the port in the profile, but not the attachment.
