2 installs of MSDE

The server already had MSDE on it and another install of MSDE was done on the server, now the old database of WSUS don't work(unable to open managment console for WSUS). How do I check and reattach the old database?

There where no errors when the new install was done. There was a new program install with the new install of MSDE and that database is working 100%. I need to reattach the WSUS database can this be done and how?
