Looks good but i suggest changing the Times Roman font youre using to Verdana or whatever you are using for the rest of the site.

If you were going for the grey look then it will be a good idea to add some colour to your site using flash animations or advert etc.

Colour attracts attention quickly and will have a good lasting attraction on your viewers after they have left.

There was an aweful lot of white space on the home page and things seemed to be placed willy-nilly. You might try using a dark green instead of the dark gray as well.
