like everyone else, unless you want to just use your IP.... Firefox: no, its not the end all solution, it has its own issues and in time it will be just as insecure as IE, when its hit Firefox 6, if it makes it that far. Oh, and AOL pays for it, incase you didn't know.

Keep in mind you can by a domain name from any registrar. Domain name registrars include GoDaddy, Verisign, etc. and usually range from $10 to $35 per year.

I've been recommended GoDaddy, it seems really cheap. $8.95 a year. The site is at http://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/default.asp?e=com.

You can also try www.namecheap.com a reputable registrar which became pretty popular in a very short amount of time.

You can also use a dynamic DNS service like the one at http://dyndns.org which you can point to your server's IP address.

GoDaddy also have multiple complaints made about them at www.WebHostTalk.com
Also ensure you can transfer out fine. Otherwise you can be charged £40+ to do this. Old trick of 1&1.
