The first thing I would work on is making sure all the code is up to standards and validates which as of now is not. I like the current design except there could be a little more dynamic elements to it for example adding some css rollovers to the menus could enhance it a little. Also you could take it in a little more web 2.0 direction not to much because it still is very business like. Get rid of the big ugly arrow that points to the menu. make sure everything fits together(doesnt in firefox at the moment neither does the grayish gradient background that shows up in IE). So work on browser compatibility would be another thing.
