Same problem with Acer AL2032WA.
Horizontal lines on the whole right side of the screen from top to bottom, wide about an inch and a half.
I have applied advice given by TallCool1 and it helped. But it did get me a lot of power to twist this monitor as the plastic used for this monitor is very strong and i could not twist it a bit with moderate pressure. I have had to twist it very strongly to notice just a small change. After 5 minutes of twisting the monitor went off and i tought the it had died. I have not pressed the power switch. However, after a power on the lines are gone and everything is nice. I just wonder for how long...
If the problem appears again is it any good to open the monitor and clean the contacts with some contact spray or alcohol?
