Google analytics is just a stat program like awstats. It doesn't help with you with SEO directly. It just helps you understand where your visitors are coming from and what they are doing on your site. Then you can use that information to tweak your site to make it a better experience for them. The search engine referrers is helpful for understanding what terms you rank well for so you can try to rank better for them and add additional similar phrases as well.
