Hi all,

I am new to BIOS programming . I have one USB device connected to the PC. Communication between bios and USB device has to take place before the OS is loaded. Is it possible to program or configure BIOS using ACPI? How is it posssible? In which language? and is there enough memmory for that?

I donot know much but what i have learned from USBMAN.com
is the fact that ACPI and USB donot like each other, or in other words
USBMAN advices to disable ACPI in BIOS (if possible) if you are using
USB. Other question remanis : why do you want to program the BIOS ? and what is programming the BIOS for You (changing the settings ?)
