Amilo Freezes When Playing games
Hi Guys,
I have just bought a second hand Fujitsu Siemens Amilo A1667G. less than 2 months old.
It has the following basic specs:
AMD 64 4000+ processor 2.2 GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon X700 128 dedicated graphics.
512mb ram
My problem is my Amilo keeps freezing when I play computer games.
I bought starsky and hutch (no laughing) system requirements are:
Operating System: Windows 98/2000/ME/XP
CPU: Pentium III 500 MHz or Higher
VIDEO: 16 MB 3D Video Card
Hard Disk Space: 100 MB HD
CD: 16x or Faster
RAM: 128 MB RAM
DX: DirectX 8
You can see my specs blow all over this, my laptop should pound this game into the ground, so why doe sit freeze when a level loads up.
The same happened when I tried to play Fahrenheit
Operating System: Windows® 98SE/Me/2000/XP
Processor: Pentium® III 800 MHz or faster
Memory: 256 MB RAM
Hard Disk Space: 510 MB Free
Video: 32 MB Hardware T&L-compatible video card*
Sound: Windows® 98SE/Me/2000/XP-compatible sound card
DirectX®: DirectX® version 9.0c (included) or higher
Is there anything I need to consider with regards to the graphics card setup, has anybody had this problem, any suggestions why this might happen when it clearly shouldn’t?
cheers
